
Born on July 8, 1992, in Cannes, France, Norman Nato is a skilled French racing driver currently competing in the FIA Formula E World Championship for Andretti Global in 2024. His career has spanned various racing disciplines, including karting, single-seaters, endurance racing, and Formula E.
Nato’s career began in karting, where he quickly made a name for himself by winning multiple French championships and performing well on the international stage. After transitioning to single-seaters in 2010, he competed in the F4 Eurocup 1.6 and went on to race in Formula Renault 2.0 and Formula Renault 3.5, showing strong potential. In 2015, he moved to GP2 Series (now Formula 2), where he had several podium finishes, including a victory at the prestigious Monaco Grand Prix.
After his time in single-seaters, Nato switched to endurance racing, competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) and the European Le Mans Series (ELMS). He had notable stints with teams like G-Drive Racing and Rebellion Racing, achieving podiums and victories, including a win at the 4 Hours of Shanghai in 2019. He also participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, finishing in competitive positions.
In 2020, he joined Venturi Racing in Formula E as a reserve driver before becoming a full-time driver in the 2020-2021 season. He secured two podium finishes during his debut season and scored his first Formula E victory in Berlin in the final race of the season. Nato continued to impress, and in 2022, he joined Nissan for the 2022-2023 season.
